SPRING LOOKBOOK

Hey guys! Thought I'd share with you all a little something my boyfriend Nicholas and I shot last week. I've always wanted to challenge myself to create a number of looks from just a few key pieces, so here it is.

20 Pieces. 10 Looks. 10 different occasions to wear them to.

The key to success here was using clean, simple, classic pieces - what I'm referring to as #thenewclassics - to create some really great looks. I used a mix of high-end and casual brands (and even snuck in a few of my own designs) to create accessible looks for any occasion you may have this spring.

Let me know how I did in the comments below - and share with me if you've ever done anything similar. I'd love to check it out.

International Style Institute

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the first-ever International Style Institute with celeb stylist Anita Patrickson at The Grove here in LA. Co produced by SimplyStylist, the three-day event wrote the proverbial book on all things styling.

Certainly one of the most exciting weekends I've had in LA, and definitely the most informative - I feel like my brain is still reeling from all the information we covered! A slew of guest speakers, a personal styling challenge, hands-on experience (and a pretty solid gift bag) made for a weekend I won't soon forget.

update: I just found out i will also be attending simplystylist's next LA event at the grove on March 28th. Let me know if any of you plan to join! I'd love to meet up there!
