Happy (almost) National Tequila Day, everyone! Okay, okay, so it's not technically until Friday, but if you drink a few of these, you might be out past midnight, and hey - what's the difference then, anyway, hm?
Today, I'm so happy to share with you my delicious and simple Watermelon Margaritas. The perfect combo of sweet/tart/boozy - these are sure to be a hit at your next BBQ, soiree, or summer hangout. Get the recipe below.
Pulverize a small watermelon into juice, and strain through a sieve. (You'll want to end up with about 2 cups of juice.) Mix In a quarter cup of lime juice, and a quarter cup of simple syrup. Add to that a half cup of white tequila - I used Espolón brand - and give everything a good stir. Serve over ice in glasses with a salted rim.
What can I say? These were a hit. So easy, and oh-my-god so delicious. Give this a try tonight. Or tomorrow night to celebrate #NationalTequilaDay. Or on Saturday. Or all weekend. I won't judge. Cheers! x
