Hey Everyone! I wanted to share with you a super easy DIY project that I came up with over the weekend while I was shopping at West Elm. In the search for something new for my walls, I came across this great painting. The only problem is, while beautiful, it's about $250 too much for my budget. Really. And hence, this DIY was born.
Believe me when I say, this project really is more simple than you could imagine. In fact, I bet you have half of the things you need to do this project already. In fact, even if you don't, buying all of the materials from scratch would still only cost you a fraction of the price of the original.
This is nothing more than some watercolor paper brushed with washes of color and sprinkled with sea salt, left to dry. Once it was no longer wet, I brushed the salt away and put it in a chic minimal frame. Total project duration (including drying time) - under an hour! So what are you waiting for?? Give this a try. PS- check out the #MOG video tutorial accompanying this project on our youtube channel! And in the meantime, why don't you Subscribe? It does the body good. (So I've heard.)
